New year, new venues.

Dilly Daly is fresh on the scene in South Yarra’s Daly Street (FYI – for seasoned South Yarra brunchers – it’s where Smak used to be).

They’re serving up the cutest coloured lattes (pink is beetroot flavoured, green is matcha and yellow is turmeric) in a gloriously pink n grey interior. You’ll also find chocolate chip hotcakes, scrambled eggs with pesto and the most delectable “Benny’s croissant” – a croissant with slow cooked pulled pork, poached eggs and house made hollandaise.

A 30 minute jaunt to Bayside later and you’ll find another newby – Sons of Mischief. ‘Tis the latest venture by the culinary geniuses behind Armadale favourite Street Talk Espresso and can be found on Highett’s buzzing commercial strip.

Much to our delight, it has its own version of Street Talk’s delicious nourish bowls featuring avocado, broccolini, eggs, Brussels sprouts and beetroot and, for the sweet tooth, there’s the very generous stack of buttermilk pancakes with Nutella cream.

They also offer a bottomless brunch AND are pup-friendly.

Find them both on the gram at @dillydalymelbourne and @sonsofmischief
