Part two of our #wandervictoria roadie started in Trentham, where we breakfasted at The Trentham Collective – a really cool spot on one of the town’s main streets. Not the best lighting for Instagram-worthy shots, but amazing food and cool vibe.
From here, it was on to the foodie mecca of Daylesford. We stayed at Hotel Frangos and absolutely loved it. As you’ll see from the photos – it’s housed in a beautiful, old building but has a really funky interior.
It’s next door to Belvedere Social which is a must visit for their awesome cocktails and gorgeous food. (Side note – they do an epic Sunday roast on weekends!)
The next morning we went and checked out the Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa. The place is HUGE and the perfect spot to immerse yourself in all things zen and relaxing. We did just that, both having one hour massages followed by 40 minutes of soaking in their beautiful mineral baths.
Suffice to say, we didn’t look too glam when we rocked up at The Lake House – #postmineralbathfeelz.
The food at The Lake House was unreal. Special mention to the desserts – we had the peanut butter, black sesame, caramel and banana, and ‘the apple’.
After a coffee, we were off to our final destination – Ballarat.
